It's Friday!

Hello and welcome to the Friday blog!

This week, we’ve got the paw-some story of P3 Support Worker Maureen Wild. When a dam threatened to burst in her village, everyone had to be evacuated at once and anyone who was at work would be unable to return. So Maureen wasted no time in kitten around. She knew exactly what the priority was – rescuing the cats! Read her story below.

It’s also Chanukah (day six, to be precise), so we’re featuring a little of the history and traditions of the eight-day Jewish festival of lights. Have you wondered what the story is behind it, or why some of those candelabras you see have seven lights while others have nine? All will be explained.

And finally …

As you all know, our Good Times Roll On celebrations have unfortunately had to be cancelled due to new Omicron variant of Covid, but in true P3 style we’re now planning a virtual Pizza and Pyjama Party on Wednesday 8 December at 8pm (plus don’t forget to watch this space for details on our summer get together once plans are confirmed).

Click on the link below for all the important party details and to view the Simply the Best award shortlist which is now ready… read on to find out more!
