Hi everyone

I have the pleasure of introducing our very first Health and Wellbeing Blog!

I have been speaking with lots of managers about promoting Health and Wellbeing and what is great is that as an organisation we are already supporting our staff, and different teams have some excellent practices already taking place. I know Zara Sweet is really passionate about this and has hosted a wellbeing team away day recently; there are many other managers supporting their teams really positively. We would like to further develop good practice and have local Champions with a real interest in promoting Health and Wellbeing in the workplace.

We know that each specific role within our organisation has different demands and stresses, so it’s important for us consider this within our Wellbeing Strategy and Action Plan, which will be rolled out soon.

We want to ensure that Health and Wellbeing is not tokenistic, but threaded into different policies and procedures and becomes part of our working day support and practices. To this end, we’ve created some P3 Thank you cards (see below!) which can be used by all services to say thank you or well done to colleagues, volunteers and clients. Comms will be distributing these to managers shortly.

In other exciting news, we can also announce the return of the P3 Big Day Out! This will be held on 5 June next year at Locko Park, and is the chance to have a fun day away from the office for all P3 staff - watch this space for more information!

Thank you and have a great weekend ☺
