Dear Colleagues

This year can be summarised in a few words: in the face of significant challenges, we have made significant progress!

The last 12 months seem to have flown by in a whirl of good outcomes and I'm both proud and privileged to have played a part in a charity which continues to go from strength to strength despite the external political and financial pressure that we constantly face.

I would like to thank every P3, Amber Trust, UFA and Rugby Portobello employee, volunteer and client for working so hard and for your continued commitment throughout the year. It is your great work that makes the difference to clients’ lives, everyday. Your positivity, expertise, creativity and initiative allow P3 to continually improve on how we meet the needs of some of the most vulnerable and fragile people in society.

I am sure 2019 will hold many challenges for our team but I have great faith that as in 2018, those challenges will be overcome because we’ve got the Carlsberg effect……probably the best group of supporters, staff and volunteers in the world!

Enjoy this time with your friends and loved ones. I could not be more excited about what’s in store for next year, and for the opportunity to work with all of you to make it happen. On behalf of the Trustees and executive team, I wish everyone a merry Christmas and a prosperous and happy New Year.
