Hi everyone

I’m Jack, the Onboarding Coordinator based in the HR department. I joined P3 in January but in a weird twist of fate, I’ve worked with P3 in some capacity or another ever since I first graduated from university in 2016.

I first came across P3 as a social worker in Wolverhampton, where some of the people I worked with were accessing the excellent services P3 have there. I then went to work at an NCS provider in the West Midlands, but just nine months later I was transferred over to UFA, who it turned out were a part of the P3 Charity Group. As soon as I joined UFA, I felt that it was a natural fit for me and when the opportunity came to stay within P3, following the sad news UFA would be closing its services, I jumped at the chance.

A large part of my role since I’ve joined P3 has been working to set up our upcoming Kickstart placements, some of which will likely be in your own teams, services, and offices. I’m really excited to have the opportunity to introduce the Kickstart scheme to you all in this week’s blog and how P3 are involved – read the story below to find out more!

If you have any questions at all about P3’s involvement in the Kickstart scheme, feel free to email me at jack.buckler@p3charity.org

Thanks,

Jack
