The P3 Cambridgeshire Street Outreach Team pilot project began on 2 December 2019, it was commissioned by three
local authorities and the first project of its kind covering Huntingdonshire, East Cambridgeshire and South Cambridgeshire – as the intro says, it’s a vast rural area of
some 965 square miles!

Having the advantage of working outdoors, lockdown was pretty much business as usual for us, and we did not let that, or the weather, stop us! Those wonderful P3 jackets are incredibly warm and waterproof you know!
Despite the challenges of a global pandemic, we have achieved amazing results, including recently celebrating receiving our 100th referral into the service.

In other exciting news we have also received confirmation that not only will the service continue to be funded, but also expanded. And so … we have welcomed Austin and Tara to the Cambs SOT team and to P3!
“If I could say anything about my brief time with P3 it would be … I have been with P3 for four weeks now as part of the Street Outreach Team in Cambridgeshire, I have never worked in a role like this before, but from day one I felt like part of a team and can already see that no two days are ever the same. I am so excited to continue with the team and watch P3 grow and know that I am a part of that.”
